Our Purpose and Principles
As Horizon leaders, we inspire others by what we say and what we do.
To inspire learners and leaders for a lifetime.
We believe:
- learning is a life-long process for everyone.
- teachers, administrators, parents and the community must work together to advance the school's mission.
- each student is a valued individual with unique social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs.
- students learn best when actively engaged in the learning process and challenged by appropriate activities.
Lead to Succeed
At Horizon, we encourage our students to live out the Eagle Way each and every day in every area of our school. These expectations are proudly recited daily during our morning announcements:
- Be Responsible
- Be Respectful
- Be Prepared
- Be Safe
